Singapore Gives Green Signal to Resume Selling of India-made Maggi Noodles

After safety tests by food authorities, Singapore has withdraw the ban on the sale of Maggi noodles manufactured in India. It is stated that this is safe for consumers.

The Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) and Agri-Food advised that the importers can resume the sale that was kept on hold last week for tests, reported by The Straits Times.

Maggi instant noodles have passed the tests by AVA and met local food safety standards. Further the report says, the authorities have also applied tests on the maggi produced in other countries to be sure about the safety needs.

AVA earlier declared that the food would be banned that do not pass the test.

After the scourge of finding the excess level of lead and monosodium glutamate (MSG) in the samples of Maggi, tested in Uttar Pradesh nad Delhi, India banned the sale temporarily, on 3rd June.
